I run SMK Payroll & Bookkeeping, a one-person bookkeeping and payroll practice serving Salem-Keizer, Portland, and Eugene. I work with construction businesses and farms: job costing, certified payroll, farm payroll, and numbers your CPA can use.
I don't outsource your bookkeeping to other companies. I keep my client list small on purpose: fewer clients, closer attention.

What software do you use?

Do you do taxes?
I keep your books tax-ready and work directly with your CPA. I don't prepare income tax returns.
Can you take over my existing payroll?
Yes. I'll handle the switch, including year-to-date balances, so nothing gets missed mid-year.
Do I need to be local?
No. I work mostly with Salem–Portland businesses, but everything can be done remotely anywhere in Oregon.
